BulletMagnet Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 You see Diego Bandao on TUF tho? I reckon he's gonna be the one to beat Quote
Michael robinson Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 Yeah i live a breath mma dont go a day with out watching or training , he looks like a beast and a very good up and coming fight , fast and powerful but needs to get rid of the wild style and become more technical ( he's like chuck Liddell always looking for that wild over hand right ) also the question is does he have what it takes to move up to the UFC level as he's been knocked out before by gert kocani ??? Ekona Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I hate spoilers, was gonna catch up with that later from recorded TV.... Don't click on a thread entitled UCF/MMA then! Quote

Michael robinson Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 I would like to use this tread for more than just events and results posting , I was hoping that if there were people on here that love the sport as much as I do could talk and show their opinion on fighters, fights and experiences of actually participating in the sport Quote

marzman Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I was there in Birmingham last night for 138. That was my 3rd time watching the UFC in the UK. Got to say, it was a poor card, compounded by a terrible main event. Not seen the TV footage yet but the crowd definitely felt short changed with the Leben result. Im not a massive fan, but i watch it when i can... Quote
Michael robinson Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 The leban fight was abit strange as he was claiming he couldn't see out of his left eye the doctors handled the hole situation very badly by asking stupid questions and his corner had to make the decision to stop it which in the interest of safety for there fighter was the right choice . It looked very exciting on tv but they cut out all the crap , all fights were over very fast so can understand to a point of not feeling like getting there moneys worth but that's the sport very unpredictable. the fight card wasn't bad but wasn't full of well known names , more of the up and coming fighters getting a chance . Michael robinson Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Take it he's your favourite fighter ?? Quote
SteveRS Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Yeah he is! I don't get to watch it very often but I've seen it at the o2 twice now. Great atmosphere! Quote

DannyBoy Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Aaron Rosa = hilarious joke All the finesse of a house brick combined with the conditioning of a 3 day old kitten. I just don't get why he keeps getting on UFC fight cards. DB Quote

marzman Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I missed it, going to watch it online later today , was it a good show ??? It wasnt amazing, but it was the best i've seen for a while (that said, the last UFC i saw was when i was in Birmingham on Nov 5th ) It was nice to watch the TUF guys though as you could see how much it meant to them to win...
