The 1M is an absolutely brilliant car for the money but a car with 300 bhp is never going to keep up with the likes of a Z06, IS-F, murc, 458 etc etc... Could have put the M5 in which would have faired a little better imho (although it'd still get whooped) Awesome drag race though. SO MUCH money there.. Yep great car and value for money the 1M but like u say not in the same range.
