The Cayenne Turbo S is obselete now!

With the facelifted Cayenne they are scrapping the Turbo S as the Turbo comes with about 500 bhp!

 

That's what I read but it might be untrue!

I drove one round the Gran Prix circuit at Silverstone. Magnificent, the most underrated Ferrari in my humble opinion.

I'm not envious or anything but I had a ride in a collegue's 288 GTO a few years ago and I've wanted one ever since. The sound from that twin turbo V8 was awesome.

Last thing we all drew lots for one of the faster cars to do a complete lap. I got the Porsche but swapped for the F355 since it was such a superb drive earlier.

 

If anyone has £500 of their company's money to splurge on a jolly I would highly recommend it.

Fair enough.

 

A relative has an S and it's nice. But that's it, nothing more IMO. Quick of course. Main gripe is the leather - how do the Germans find cows that hard?!?!

And if you want practicality in one of your cars, just get an RS, will be much more fun to drive than to hog along 2400kg of Cayenne Turbo S.
