gort Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Hi Guys. bought two of these, but didn't realise there was right and wrong way, to fit them, don't want to put them upside down as I had the garage take the old one's off, I've no way of guidance Quote
rtbiscuit Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 i think the 2nd one. difficult to tell from the photos though Quote
The G Man Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I would have said that too, but in the end if you get it wrong you'll have a unique Z Quote
Danny 350Z Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Definitely the 2nd one imo. The top of the Z should be the smallest. Quote
Peter10 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Where did you get the badges from? What's the quality like on them? I wouldn't mind getting a couple for mine. Quote

Chilli Red Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Bit late I know, but yes to number two, otherwise the water holds on top of the Z. Quote

Watch you don't bubble the paint Quote
Watshot Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Just heat it carefully until the glue softens, then lift away. Clean any remaining glue with remover or spirit. Should be no need to paint unless you over do it with the heat and bubble the paint, unless you were painting for another reason? Just takes patience, and gentle heat. Yeah, what he said Quote
gort Posted March 30, 2011 Author Posted March 30, 2011 the bodyshop took mine off, I just wanted advice on the best way to tackle it, but he did it there & then by putting a screwdriver underneath it and levering it off, and it broke up in bits Quote
