CF wrap

Recommended Posts

Had a mess around with some di-noc today and managed to wrap the gear surround pretty much perfectly, pretty happy with the results.

Filled with confidence I had a go at the rest of the centre console and to be honest it was a total pain in the arse. Now not sure if I should buy more material persevere or not has anyone here done the console?

Also fitted a shiny new gear knob bought from EPracing B)

You will find the bit around the 3 gauges the hardest part

To be perfectly honest I would leave it with just the gear gaiter bit done and see how you like it, I spent ages doing mine then ripped it all off after a month as I didn't like it...

But then I am rather fickle

Yeah the guages, that was about that part where I failed

Thanks Rich, and that said thread can be found here viewtopic.php?f=53&t=35001

Looks awesome that did you have a problem with it sticking properly? I guess it's the rough surface but I'd rather not start rubbing it down incase I mess up

I removed guage surrounds but didnt know the guage cup could be removed is it just glued on the frame? I'm a plastic welder so shouldn't have a problem putting them back B)
