Yes they are redundant in the uk that is why I wish to re use the button for something else, has anybody got a wiring diagram?

I have lost guttering and drain pipes. It felt like the windows were gonna come in last night

The sky guys usually put a bit of electrical tape around them although this generally only lasts a few weeks. Once it has lost its adhesive there doesnt seem to be any detrimental effect to the signal

Im not sure how the cubby works but mine was a straight replacement for a JDM sat nav system which I simply removed, the inputs etc are at the side put with a little soldering/fiddling it is quite easy to modify The second link is simply a finishing trim
