How much for the steering wheel controls pal?

I have a button on my jdm bose stereo whos purpose I cant figure out, it is on the RHS of the LCD display and looks very similar to the wifi symbol my i phone displays?? when i press it, it displays a random number 1024 or something similar Any ideas? Cheers
