lomoto Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Very Very , nice how long a project has it been to get it to this stage? Quote
steve_jones Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Since JAE I think , Very nice , not Jealous at all !! steve Quote
Baptist Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Took longer than planned due to parts delays. Was without my car for one trip at home, so 12 weeks in total. Quote
Stew Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Nice. And with that post you got your sticker! Quote
Baptist Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Haha, no thanks, no chav stickers for that motor! Quote
H5 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Very, very nice. IMO probably the best modified Zed I know of. The yanks often over do it and everything chosen for this has been carefully chosen. Are you planning on keeping it for a while? Quote
Baptist Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Thanks mate, yeah, she's for keeps. Quote
Stew Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Haha, no thanks, no chav stickers for that motor! Ha ha! Mine either.... I must say it looks stunning. My buddie Fletch said it was coming along nicely - I think he worked with you or something. The wheels are awesome and absolutely perfect for the car! Quote
ir_fuel Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 WOW IMPRESSED Even if i had the money/guts to do this to my Z, I would never get it road-legal here in Belgium with all those mods, stupid laws here Quote
H5 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Thanks mate, yeah, she's for keeps. In which case may I suggest a centre piece for Trax next year of this in the centre, with mine and Ming's either side for the challenge?? Oh, and you will be contacted for help with sourcing some bits!! Quote
Baptist Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 When is Trax? No probs on the bits, what you after? Quote

H5 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 When is Trax? No probs on the bits, what you after? Not entirely sure, check the sticky in Car Detailing between me and Ming for some of the info. Will check for ya! Will have to go back to the shopping list and will PM you when sorted. Quote
Digsy Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Stunning car, Bap. Almost perfect IMHO and I agree with the comment above about it not being OTT like some of the yanks. Driving impressions? Quote
Baptist Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 I wont be able to run full boost in all but the optimum conditions, its so violent the torque. Im running about 11psi at the minute, and thats borderline on some roads. Had the backend let go at 80mph in 5th the otherday, on a wet road. Quote

AndyC Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Bap I reckon thats the best modded Z I've seen, very very classy. Well done, she's obviously taken a hell of a lot of planning & work but the end result is definately a credit to you Quote
Baptist Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Thanks Andy, appreciate the comments. Yeah, dont like things OTT, wanted to keep the car looking subtle but just a bit beefier. Ive never been into stick on lips etc, so it took me a while to figure out what bodyparts would be right for my car. Best of it is, that all the parts are urethane, I wouldnt go near fibreglass, its a nightmare. I've never heard a zed sound like this thing does, its sublime. Quote
lomoto Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 OK... I'll ask the question whats she stand you at Bap??? Quote
