ATTAK Z Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Just out of interest. Does anyone run spacers on their Z? yes they do ........ do a search for spacers, stance or wheels ...... a lot run 20 front and 25 rear with standard Rays Quote
jerry3167 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Yep, Spacers are pretty much the first mod any self respecting Zed owner would have at the top of their things to do first list! I have Eibach 20mm spacers all round, enough to fill the huge arches of the Z. Quote
Zcoxy Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 Ah, nice one, I was a bit hesitant on putting them on but it seems like the done thing then. Thanks guys. Quote

Have a read first .......... there are pros and cons relating to spacers .......... discussed on here many times ....IMO it's far better to go for wheels with good offsets and then you won't need spacers Quote
spursmaddave Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I think most of the guys that have had real problems with spacers have been roadster owners, I have 25mm 20mm combo on a coupe and yes you do notice a difference with them on but for me the looks outweigh the slight handling differences... Each to their own If you don't like them stick them up for sale on here at a decent price and they will sell very quickly Quote
jerry3167 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 if you want to look good going slow, then spacers all the way! Quote
spursmaddave Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 if you want to look good going slow, then spacers all the way! Well if you listen to Colin I drive too slow So I am very happy with my Spacers Quote
dyla350z Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 20 & 15mm for me,found 25 & 20 made the steering a bit dead. Quote
jerry3167 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Well if you listen to Colin I drive too slow Slow enough to drive Miss Daisy? Quote
spursmaddave Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Well if you listen to Colin I drive too slow Slow enough to drive Miss Daisy? Apparently so I wouldn't mind but he must be at least 40 years older than me Quote

Zcoxy Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 Is this with 19's on also? Won't the edge of the arch rub on the tyre? Quote
ZMANALEX Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Is this with 19's on also? Won't the edge of the arch rub on the tyre? Now that will depend on the offsets and the tyre sizes. Quote
