was8v Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Insist you want just the oil change not the extra checks - you can do those yourself/MOT. Always worth asking if they will price match. I got VW down from £160 (basic service) to £80 (just oil & filter change) then down to £35 (price match national tyres) for my GF's golf. National tyres http://www.national.co.uk will do an oil and filter change for £37.50 on a Z using Castrol Edge 0W-30 full synth - worth a try at a price match. I usually self service but if you can get them down to these prices its not worth getting your hands dirty, plus you get a stamp in the book.
