I brought a meguiars G220DA Machine Polisher from Tim's Group buy along with a Yellow Polishing Pad and Black Buffing Pad. I now need to order some polish that will be suitable for removing light swirl marks and holograms from the zed and was hoping to get some recommendations :)

My Girlfriend did order me a bottle of "3M Extra Fine" and trying to decide whether to order the "3M ultrafina" aswell or to return it and get the Meguiars "Ultimate Compound" or even something different like "Menzerna 85RD".

Has anyone used these products and advise which will be most suitable for the Nissan Paintwork to remove swirls and leave a glossy finish.

I'll also probably use it on Honda Civic, Audi TT and BMW M3 although the 350z is my priority..

very good all rounder and will get you good results with the Da polisher with a polishing pad.

look at this chart for comparison , i found it quite usefull

The 85rd by the way hasnt as much cut as the 106fa , its good for very light swirls, i use to use it but moved to the 106fa as it has more cut and quicker results.

The 85rd is good for using after the 106fa if required , or after you have corrected your Zed with 106fa you may only regularly need the 85rd

It's quite cold for menzerna. It's tricky to use when the temperature is low.

Now, the 4 cars you've listed have 2 very different paint types. Whats good for the 350Z might not enough enough cut to really work on the likes of the TT. I personally think you would be best getting a kitcwith a few compounds in it to try out. Just my 2p.
