Stew Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I'm not really sure what you're looking for.... Are you looking for a database to estimate a daily rate you would charge / be charged for a contractor after entering skills / requirements of said contractor? I'd have thought an employment agency could tell you the going contractors rates as they fluctuate with demand I'd imagine. Quote

andlid Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 I blame the wino and the laughter from that video clip... I'm looking for some sort of salary scales applicable in the UK and Ireland in the current climate. It's more a scale taken from the actual earners I'm looking for. Most agencies just stick their finger up in the air and guestimates... or tell you what you'd make if you went through their agencies (not mentioning what ever they put in top of that) Something like this: http://lonebarometern.idg.se/loner/deta ... 1/search/1 Quote

Chris`I Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 If you want real numbers, goto JobServe and look whats on there. No better way to guage the current climate than look at actual job specs that are out there. Take a few quid a day off the rate they advertise as they always have a reason not to give you full whack If you're in IT then try this (dont know how accurate it is) - http://www.itjobswatch.co.uk/jobs/uk/ab%20initio.do Quote
