HID upgrade

is the 50w ballast something you already have from something else?

i can;t see why not, but the headlights were designed a specific way, you have to question how much this increase in Watts will do for temperature etc, you don't want to melt the lights from the inside.

could try a higher kelvin bulb, might help think i put 6k in mine compared to the standard 4.5k in the stock headlights.

also try checking the level in them, make sure they are up high enough.

but agreed stock headlights are pretty dull and useless.

I know it's not the same but I have 100w h7 high beams in my

172 and there is no problem after long use.

did they come like that as standard or have you upgraded them to that?

Well they arent legal, so I'll leave that to you to decide ;)

i don't like lights that blind on coming traffic; makes me want to get out and smash their headlights in with the drivers face.

I agree hence the 100w bulbs, the 172 has xenons which are a million times better than the 350z's but when people are driving towards you with their beams on 1 flash of these lights and they switch their beams off straight away.

I flashed police with the lights (to let them past/through) and they never pulled me or said anything but thats cos they hi beam and not dipped. Stupid crappy cheap badly fitted misaligned retro fitted hid's pee me off the most.
