What a load of crap though they need to make it more exciting to keep the enthusiasm for the sport up, they need to remove the restrictions rather than adding more and more.

Engine specs for 2013 confirmed. Team orders allowed for 2011 with caveats.

Some further info....Only 5 engines per driver for 2013, down to 4 for 2014 . Gearboxes will now have to last 5 races instead of 4. HD coverage from 2011 very likely

I thought F1 was supposed to be the pinnacle of engineering and motorsport. F1 has been going down hill for years, but if this happens it will be the end of the sport in my eyes

Moveable rear wings and Kers could make for some interesting overtaking - not sure I'd want to be in the lead with someone < 1 second behind me going in to the home straight though - seems a little unfair if someone wins a race because they were in second place on the last corner... hopefully that won't happen though.

new rules for much smaller wings and shaped underbody now - lots more skill is going to be needed to get the maximum out of these

I still don't see why they can't just say everyone gets x litres of fuel per race, build whatever engine you want. Would make for some great racing with a mix of turbos, V8s, V12s etc.
