centre caps

Probably a silly question, but do I have to take the wheel off to pop out the centre cap (rays), or is there a trick to getting them out without damaging the wheel?

I have no idea but I did ponder on that while cleaning my wheels a couple of weeks ago

That's a tricky one... I think I would rather take the wheel off than start digging away with a small screwdriver

you could try and prise them out but you run a very high risk of damaging the wheel

Not worth the risk to be honest, unless your wheels are a mess anyway and you dont care.

Take the wheel off or you will certainly damage the wheel around the center cap and probably the cente cap too. You may want to put them back on if you don't like the look of the ones your replacing with (if that's what you are intending to do).

Thanks for the advice, I thought that would be the best way

, my wheels aren't in too bad condition apart from some bubbling on the spokes.
