They don't look to be the traditional little pockets rockets, but I wouldn't say no if one was given to me to drive.

The biggest problem they have is percieved lack of quality and reliability.

 

They've also put up the prices (it's £40,000 for the next elise, then £75,000 and over 100k for the top 2 models) but have doubled production volumes so reducing the exclusivity of ownership

I`ve always loved the Lotus`

 

Not a big fan of the new plans though, they have lost the lotus look, that said, I do like the tighter bum on the Elan

The Elise pics look a lot like a sporty version of the CRZ. In fact the Elise is the only version of this new car (its one new car with a few options...) that I don't particularly like. I think the Elan is my preferred look.

The Elise.... not so much. I like the interior though although is it still very minimalist? I don't see a million buttons but everything seems to be covered I'd imagine adding weight.
