LRF4N Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 dont think lotus fans will like these but i love the modern twist, some of them look like lambos from the paris motor show http://www.worldcarfans.com/11009302874 ... its-sights http://www.worldcarfans.com/11009302874 ... aris-video http://www.worldcarfans.com/11009302874 ... -awe-video http://www.worldcarfans.com/11009302874 ... l-in-paris Quote
bronzee Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 They don't look to be the traditional little pockets rockets, but I wouldn't say no if one was given to me to drive. Quote
AndySpak Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 They look great but they all look the same Quote
Cragus Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I like them. Very Lambo on the new elan The Lotus Eterne looks very aston though. Quote
Walbertonio Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Aye, thought the same, first few scream Gallardo, last one very Aston in it's lines. Still, not bad looking motors for all that. Quote
DoogyRev Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I think they look Its about time Lotus started competing with the Porsche, Lambo and Ferrari You never know we might even see Mr Bond in one of these Quote
rich5259 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The biggest problem they have is percieved lack of quality and reliability. They've also put up the prices (it's £40,000 for the next elise, then £75,000 and over 100k for the top 2 models) but have doubled production volumes so reducing the exclusivity of ownership Quote
Darren-B Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I`ve always loved the Lotus` Not a big fan of the new plans though, they have lost the lotus look, that said, I do like the tighter bum on the Elan Quote
LRF4N Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 i remember the elan used to be a micro car it was tiny lol but it says this one is a 911 rival? Quote
LRF4N Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 lol and yea andyspak they do all look the same lol. some hints of the honda crz in some of them dont think thats a good thing tho Quote
AndySpak Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The Elise pics look a lot like a sporty version of the CRZ. In fact the Elise is the only version of this new car (its one new car with a few options...) that I don't particularly like. I think the Elan is my preferred look. Quote
Stew Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Love the Esprit! Looks awesome! The Elise.... not so much. I like the interior though although is it still very minimalist? I don't see a million buttons but everything seems to be covered I'd imagine adding weight. Quote
