martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Its nearing that time of year again so time to start considering which pics will get in the 2011 calendar. I have seen many great pics on here during the year and as ever it will be very difficult to choose just 13 to go forward for publication. Another slight change in procedure this year. If you have any pics that you think merit inclusion please e-mail me the HD copy, my e-mail is in my profile. I will then post them in the team section for judging and the best will be in. The photo must be zed related obviously but anything goes. single zeds, group shots from shows and meets etc. We need to get this wrapped up bu early December for printing early January. As usual the calendar will run from 1st Feb 2011 for 12 months. Questions.? ChrisS Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Hi Martin Is it OK if the piccy was taken by Liam my son ? I was driving he was shot gun in May and there is one he would like me to enter for him.
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 Not a problem mate, that would be fine. As ever I am trying to keep the rules for this as loose as possible.
ChrisS Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Your email address is in your Ocupation Martin.
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 I think most people know how I get paid to do very little.
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 Also worth mentioning that this is not just for modified cars, any car is welcome in the calendar. You dont have to be a techie photo genius either, as long as the quality is good then it will be considered. Thanks Chris, received yours.
ChrisS Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Are we going to have a thread so us plebs can see what has been entered ? Maybe a locked one so just the mods etc. can post them on it. Just a thought.
Husky Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 can we post the picture up here and who took it? if i didnt take the picture im not going to have the full size copy for email
ChrisS Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 can we post the picture up here and who took it? if i didnt take the picture im not going to have the full size copy for email See where your coming from. Think there were a few 'moans' about the piccy quality on actual calendar last year.Hense the change
Husky Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 no i understand, but i mean post the options up here then when selected ask the owner for the original
ChrisS Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 then when selected Nice bit of confidence there Sure Martin will sort something out...............with all his spare time
Husky Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 i just thought i'd ask before spamming the thread with pictures i think are pretty
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 Only a full quality pic can be entered so if you find one that you want to enter contact the OP and ask him to submit it. That saves me doing it and getting ignored.
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 Got it mate. I will add names of the guys I have received e-mailed submissions from in the first post. I am away on offline a bit for the next week or so so dont worry if this takes a bit of time.
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 If we say December 15th that should give evryone plenty of time to get sorted. I will then get the final pics to the printer on 2nd January so they can get on with it.
dawnc Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Have just sent you e-mail Martin hope the quality is good enough
350ash Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Do the photos need to be a certain size or shape (does portrait or landscape matter for example)?
martinmac Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 The calendar uses landscape so although we have had portrait on some in the past landscape work better.
