Hi all - i noticed in my pre-Wales checks that my K&N Typhoon really needs a clean. The filter is pretty dirty. I think K&N sell those "clean and re-oil kits" for their filters? Can i pick this stuff up at Halfrauds/MotorFactors or will it need to be purchased from somewhere like OpieOils/Envy etc?

Ta!

Hi Andy,

Halfrauds sell the K&N and also Pipercross do the same stuff.

The K&N oil comes out red but do not panic and do not put to much on mate

Yup, got mine from Halfords, they do it as cheap as any other

Dont go OTT with the oil, but make sure its has a thin covering over the whole of the filter.

Looks like Halfrauds Ilkeston have only just started to stock it! I bought the only pack they had - one of the girls behind the counter remembered putting in a draw underneath one of the shelves cos there was no designated area for it yet, lol! Cleaning on Satdee morning i reckon :)

slightly off topic and a noobie question but would the k&n cleaner kit also work on a JWT pop charger as mines looking a bit grubby

should do neo

also i have a half used cleaning kit sat on my desk,

BM gave it to me, but i no longer have a K&N filter in the car and i'm selling up so if some ones willing to pay the postage on it they can have it.
