greido Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Hi, Apologies in advance if this is a bit of a ‘Noddy’ question. I wonder if anyone can help? - I'm replacing my Rays and having a bit of trouble fitting some after market alloys, on the front wheels there appears to be a stud next to the the wheels prongs that's preventing the new wheel going on, should/could this be removed? If so, how should this be done? - (I tried a little removing with a spanner and the wheels just spun). Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Gordon Quote
DoogyRev Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Thats just to stop the rears being put on the front, so your ok to remove. Quote
magic84 Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 you can take the stud out no problem at all. i think its a locator for the wheel. i had to remove mine to put wheeel spacers on. your need someone to push on the brake pedal for you to stop the wheel spinning Quote

I've attached a link to the new wheels; please let me know what you think. I'm delighted with them, they look much better in the flesh than in the pics: http://s767.photobucket.com/albums/xx314/greido/ Cheers, G Quote
