ben p Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 What width of tyre will fit on a 18" ray's alloy on the rear of an 06 coupe? the only reason I ask is i've found some 255's cheaper then 245's. And would It be beneficial or detrimental to put wider tyres on?? Thanks guys. Quote
marzman Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Altering the width will affect the height of the tyre, thus affecting the rolling radius, and then causing very annoying TCS problems. So i'd definitely stick with the standard sizes. Quote

Ekona Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Tbh I wouldn't expect an issue with running tyres that little out of spec anyway: Certainly dropping to 40 profile with the R888s has made no difference to the TCS that I can tell so far. Quote
