205 GTi

Anyone else here a glutten for punishment and a fan of the 205 GTi?

 

I've had a couple of stripped out 1.9 GTis that my friend and I used for track days. I also had a rather tidy 1.6 Miami Blue GTi for a while. I'm now on my 3rd 205 CTi (convertible GTi), I tend to buy one each year and restore them up for the summer.

I had a silver 1.9 GTI in my youth ( E reg '88 ) ... fantastic little car

i had a 306 GTI6 which i think was the last of their good cars. not quite the same as the 205 gti's a different beast all together.

Had a 205 gti and a 106 gti, went around Oulten park in a supercharged 106gti that was about 220bhp on full slicks and I think the only car I have ever felt car sick in.

I had a G reg 205 1.9 GTI back in the early ninties it replaced a Renault 5 GT Turbo which I also loved.

I had 3 kids so needed a bit more space, had the same engine in a citroen BX GTI

I love the 205 GTI, I've had 4 1.6's. 2 white, 1 red and a black 1. All of them were slightly modified and I have to admit I've looked on Evil-Bay for number 5.

 

Although with the 350Z and a 300ZX TT already outside the house the other half would go mental LOL
