Sandy Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Hello folks, I've got a 2003 JDM Z and my road tax is £405 a year it was registered in the UK on 2006. Anyway am I right on this if you have 2003 Z from the UK the road tax is £215. If I am right is there anyway query this with DVLA as the UK and JDM z have the same emissions etc why should I be paying more. I queried this before but they just fobbed me off saying "its a 2006 car and that that road tax you need to pay" but its not thanks in advance for any info Sandy Quote
UNABASHED Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 unlucky! if your car is registered after end of March 2006 its £405 but before end of March 2006 it's half that. Mine is import registered in UK the day before the cut off so I pay half price Plenty of threads about this on here if you fancy reading up more about it. Quote

When in 2006 was your car registered? If it was after March 2006 then you just have to bite the bullet and pay as there is no way your going to get around it. did you not check all this before buying? Quote
