kObi Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 As it says in the link: '2009 D1 GRAND PRIX PROFESSIONAL SERIES TOKYO DRIFT EXHIBITION IN ODAIBA' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA8FquXKqlI No subtitles sadly. Quote
rich5259 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Good find Odiaba is great. The building in the background with lots of holes in it and a giant sphere is the HQ of Fuji-TV. The monorail you can see in some of the footage is fully automated, there isn't a driver so you can sit right up front - feels really wierd the 1st time. Quote
LRF4N Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 so ur tellin me when i stepped outta tokyo airport onto the train there was no driver??? lol good vid makes u wanna get sideways on the snow wots the big white limo theyre using? is it a lexus equivalent toyota? Quote
rich5259 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 The trains from the airport have a driver, just the monorail from Shimbashi to Odaiba is driverless I think you are right about the white limo being a Toyota version of what we see here as a Lexus, so it may well have a 4.3litre V8 as the basic engine.
