drob
Ive got a 2004 coupe with he gt pack, its a uk model. Obviously the speedos in mph but whys all the info thats displayed in the little cluster next to the oil etc displayed in kilometers, is this right or it ment to be in mph as well. good idea, ill call nissan head quaters tell them the vin num then they can tell me for sure what it is, i thought jdm's dnt go past 115mph. goes past that by a good 30mph, anyone know where to look to see if its got a speed delimiter on it
Ian
Should be in MPH but I'm sure that theres a way to change it to KMH, so you should be able to change it back
drob
If anyone knows how to change it back to mph can you let me know plzzzzzzzz
marzman
Are you sure the value isnt in MPH, and it just has the 'km/h' symbol next to it? Thats how most JDM's are... If you look closely at your speedo you will probably have a tiny piece of black tape over your 'k' leaving it looking like 'm/h'.
ATTAK Z
I've just read the book and my conclusion is that you can't change it back. It looks like you've got a set of metric gauges. I may be wrong but someone more knowledgeable than me will be along shortly to advise I'm sure.
ATTAK Z
What numbers are on the oil pressure gauge? uk gauge has 0, 60 & 120 psi. I think JDM gauge is different
drob
My oil gauge goes up in 0,4,8 whats goin on lol its got a normal uk bumper and plate on it, and when i insured it, it came up as 350z gt coupe and not fairlady z. im confused now bigtime
Ian
Sounds like you might have a JDM with uk bumpers or just the centre console has been replaced. Get a few pics up & we can see what it is
ATTAK Z
My centre gauges were replaced under guarantee ... not sure how much they cost but it's bound to be a lot ... looks like someone's put in some replacement JDM gauges to save money. Again, someone who knows a loy more than me on here will confirm or not in due course
marzman
Do you have headlight washers? Which side are your indicators on - the left or the right?

drob
if u mean on the steering wheel to turn the indicators on as if i was signaling, the indicators are on the right hand side and the wipers are on the left. well ive only had he car 3 days. garage sold me it as a uk car 2004 reg. paid 11.5k for it. one way to see is if it dnt dont go past 115mph then ill know for sure

Danny 350Z
As per Marzman's question; do you have headlight washers?
rtbiscuit
need pictures of your car to give you a better idea. bumpers can be changed, as can badges(which are normally attatched to the bumpers) you can get replacement dials, but my guess is it might be a replacement drivers dial unit. i don't know, seems like a lot of effort to change and then not do the centre dials. bit perplexing this one? marzman
I think the indicator stalks issue is a big giveaway here... Should deffo be on the left if its a UK car. Have a look under the bonnet... on the coolant reservoir, is it jap writing or UK? (I could be wrong on this, but my JDM has jap writing... assume UK cars are english). Did you do an HPI check or anything? Plates could be cloned from a UK car
drob
not sure if it has headlight washer jets, u can see the car on redlinespecialistcars.co.uk, thats where i bought it from. writing on all the coolant caps are english and the stickers are jap with english underneath
Ian
Looks like a JDM to me. No headlight washers & it looks like the speedo is in KMh aswell?
ATTAK Z
not sure if it has headlight washer jets, u can see the car on redlinespecialistcars.co.uk, thats where i bought it from. No washers on that car
drob
The speedo is in mph though, no km/h anywhere on it. The garage hpi checked it or else they wouldnt sell it. should i ring the garage in morning and complain, what you guys think
