Chris`I Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 is there any way you can steal the heat from Chris' mirrors and put it into mine? There was a post on the US forums about someone stealing the mirrors from a heated JDM ages ago to get the heated glass, so it would be possible, but fortunately Husky doesnt know where I live Quote

jim Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 My JDM has heated mirrors - they come on when you switch on the rear screen heater. The mirrors cleared completely in about two minutes this morning. Quote

"What is the click of the seatbelt when you turn the ignition off? Feels like the tensioner tugging the belt slightly?" I assume it must be the pre-tensioners. Quote

bronzee Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 cheers guys, my z is a jdm so maybe its not got the option?? ive resorted to wiping them with a shammy in the morning which gets tedious i didn't know they were heated how do they come on, is it when you put the rear de mister on, or is there a button. if there is a button where is it cos i ain't seen it +1 is it standard on both UK and JDM or UK only? I think from memory the 2006 onwards JDM's had the heated wing mirrors. Earlier models didn't. Quote

Maybe these were options in Japan? Quote

All sorts of oddities showing up now. One of our guys here, who's had imported JDM for almost 4 years, his has self lowering wing mirrors when backing, but not heated etc. Quote

The JDM cars have loads of funky options, like auto drop wing mirrors and corner cams at the front for better visibility at T-junctions. Quote
