Can anybody tell me if i buy a import, can you buy the cd drive to change the sat nav to english.. Or is it more involved than that.. Not really interested in aftermarket sat nav still would like to keep the original stereo..but just change the cd drive if possible. Saw the one in for sale section..but not to keen on the fm transmitter..cant you just get a uk cd drive to swap for the jap one...??? They become noisy when faulty but this is very uncommon from what I have read. I also beleive they use the oil from the sump to keep lubed up...So just keep an eye on the oil level and you should be fine... If you need sat nav then either get an aftermarket set up or buy a UK car with sat nav built in. Even then from what i've read, it isn't very good as you can't type in postcodes. rich5259 Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 Talking to the Infinity salesman, the current satnav only takes the 1st 4 characters of the post code (ie NN11 will find Daventry) but from April next the new units will support full postcodes, so I guess the Nissan ones will be the same.
