rear LED lights on ebay from US

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this - but has anyone bought these? Seems too good to be true - or is that me being a hopeless sceptic?

 

I have a 2006 model (non-LED) and think the LEDs look better (IMHO) and saw these on ebay.

If you have a look through ZMANALEX posts he sells the 06 onwards ones at a great price. They are a better looking light than the pre 06 and are a lot safer.

great - many thanks guys, much appreciated. I've never done the 'import from abroad' thing so I'd need to fork out the £127 to the seller then the £22 postage and then there will be an import duty of some kind (is this the same as VAT? i.e 15%)

 

Plus these look as though they are JDM spec - does this matter?

 

Thanks for the tip regarding the forum member selling these. I do tend to prefer the 'safer' option (good feedback from other forum members plus confirmed UK spec) but am also not rich enough to totally ignore prices unfortunately....well until my lottery win tomorrow anyway

I just looked at mine and the Genuine Nissan ones have fewer LEDs, which leads me to believe that these are non genuine copies.

They may fit fine, but until someone actually buys them, we won't know for sure.

you will have to alter the loom or alter the clip as they are differnt, cant remember which!

 

Not OEM either as BM pointed out.

 

Quicker, Easier and more piece of mind to buy off Alex for what will probably end up being an extra £30...

 

£22 is pretty cheap for p+p from the states though!

make sure you only get the authentic ones

 

the replicas look horrendous in person especially when lit up - the led's are small, looks blatantly replica, and they are more pink than red

 

I've got the 06 ones on my own car...they are terrific!

i've had loads of aftermarket lights but they always have the leakage problem.

 

i'd stick to OEM for quality.

U havent had these bud i dont think, imported from US. They are fitted to the 350z's in Japan, they're a Genuine Nissan part hence JDM. No problems with these! £332 inc p&p bargain. They have Nissan stamped all over them exactly the same as the OEM ones but clear.

Late chipping in I know but I also have the lights that RICHIERICH has and they are genuine JDM optional extras from Nissan Japan - they look way better than those 2 a penny red jobbies
