Hi bud and welcome to the club, i'm afraid the sat nav will be of no use to you as i'm not aware that there is any way to convert them over.

do u know how much to replace and what chioces ther r,and is any of it worth any thing or chuk

check the tech section here - think someone managed to fit an Xtrail unit in its place !

Think the satnav in Japan uses different frequencies/ they are normally 10 years more advanced than us anyway - and they have that fancy all comms setup for other techno stuff that the top end Zeds have - forgot the name but my other halfs got it in her JDM.

 

I would'nt bother - just stick a Tom Tom over it with velcro

Nurrish is doing a custom Sat Nav, check the for sale section. I have one of his units in my JDM and it's a really good piece of kit. Check it out and see what you think.

+1 on nurrish's satnavs. Cheaper and much better than the Nissan Birdview and still looks OEM
