Ive just arrived offshore , but when i get back I will bake my original light and offer it on an exchange basis with the next person thats wants one.

Honestly guys I found this the easiest mod ive done. Just be really on top of things when you have it in the oven. Put it in for a minutetwo then take it out and try to seperat the lense. Youll find it will part a little bit and the glue will stretch then it will get cold and stop. Put it back in for a minute or two then try again doing a bit at a time.

Im sure if you put it in for the full time it would seperate first time but at least this way you dont run the risk of burning anything or melting plastics.

Thanks for the guide - worked a treat

To be more honest, I don't think I could remove the bumper without breaking something...that's my only concern. The guide is very good, but I know I would balls it up.

Honestly the guide is pretty much spot on, just take your time and you will be fine  Could even get a body shop to do it for you - would only take them an hour or so

Great guide, job was done in 2hrs start to finish with these instructions.

Only point I would add is that if your LED fog light doesn't work at first, try installing it the other way round (normal bulbs are not polarity sensitive, but LEDs are!!)

Good tip in the LED bulb there, had the same when I did my LED sidelights.

As i'm currently on Euro lighting, I had my Fog already to hand. So, with an afternoon to kill, I took the plunge. Quite an enjoyable little mod TBH

After srobrien's mishap, I was checking the light every minute. The silcone works its way free gradually.

Quite chuffed with the end result.

Why did you have to remove the metal reflector?

Because with the right lighting, it looks better. See original post

OK - understood, now that I have checked the first post.

Hi Danny, just a quick question mate, did you just push the 2 bits of the indicator back together or did you put new silicone around the edges ?

This i might attempt this weekend.

If you heat it up again after pushing it back together the original glue will hold it fine. I used silicone as I wanted to make doubley sure the light wouldn't get moisture in and fog up.
