Quick note of thanks to Craig782, and also a recommendation for his Dent Diamond business. I had a couple of nasty dinks in my door which I wasn't that sure could be sorted with paintless dent removal. But Craig took a lot of time to get a superb finish, and for a very reasonable sum. Highly recommended.

Great guide, job was done in 2hrs start to finish with these instructions. Only point I would add is that if your LED fog light doesn't work at first, try installing it the other way round (normal bulbs are not polarity sensitive, but LEDs are!!)

The matt black window switch surround on the driver's door has got a few light but annoying scratches on it (see pic). Was hoping one of you guys that has replaced with carbon may have one you're willing to sell. Mines a 2008 car, but I assume this panel is the same for all models.

Yes, it was from Kidlington. Managed to get a couple of k off the asking price, was it was still more than I really wanted to spend...

Can anyone tell me how the cradle is secured inside the armrest - e.g. screwed, glued, velcro? The dealer is telling me that there are no screw holes and that therefore the car was never fitted with a cradle (even though it has a built in microphone, buttons on the steering wheel, and wiring in the armrest).

relatively high mileage for a demonstrator: 6,800miles, so the tyres don't have a lot left in them (seem to have uneven wear on fronts and rears which doesn't help), but I liked the rest of the spec.

In answer to the questions: - I have bought an ex-demonstrator 58 plate black coupe with GT pack, which happened to come with the orange leather interior, satnav, and what I think are the GT4 wheels. Couple of pics attached. [attachment=0]350z_1.jpg[/attachment] - I had a blue 230hp RX8 from new (sorry, despite 5yrs ownership I don't have any pics) - I was a member of the RX8OC, but not a regular contributor. - I am in North Wiltshire, nr J17 of the M4.

I'm interested in having spacers and lowered springs fitted, but...I'm not sure what the insurance company would think. Have any of you guys told your insurance companies about these mods, and if so what was their reaction? BTW - I'm insured with eSure.

Apologies if this has been answered before - I did try searching. I have just bought a Sept 08 ex-demonstrator 350 from a dealer. I thought that bluetooth was standard, but not only is it missing the bluetooth module, it doesn't even have the cradle where the module would be inserted. From what I can see, bluetooth is standard, and I should be getting the dealer to replace the cradle and module - or is it my fault for not checking before I bought the car?
