nixy Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 i got some from clean and shiny especially for the job. its so fine that its also used to apply wax to furniture etc. I would just test on the underneath first if you're worried. the one i use isn't even the finest you can get. I used brasso on my stock system and it worked a treat. the exhaust is harder than the wire wool, its abrasive enough to remove crud. but not hard enough to cut the metal. and evenif i tdid a quick run of wet and dry would restore it, finsih with brasso and good as new. did this on my H&S custom stainless exhaust worked a treat.
