I know the clocks have only just changed but I feel better having more time on an evening already. got home from work last night and went for a long circular walk around the canal near where I live. Not a soul around, Ipod in ears - sun just setting by the time I got home. Brilliant! The last few months have been a bit shitty for me but a bit of fresh air and great scenery on a nice evening makes you realise its not so bad afterall! :D

Is that based on past experience Jay? ;)

It is actually but not on what your thinking. I went a 10 or 12 mile run the other night in the wrong direction as it has diffo gradients for training and the amount of youngens out and about was unreal.

Call it window shopping. We get a large amount of meat from the local farms so its nice to see how they are getting on in advance of purchase. :bangin:

Well I've been out for a couple of walks since the clocks changed trying to strengthen my knee.

What I love about light evenings is going for a run on the bike and enjoying the weather.

I love just after lambing season. My route to work is full of them. They are the type of thing that cheers you up instantly when you see them bounding about!

You forgot the leg warmers and leotard!

Went again tonight and when I got to the country road part of the walk a car full of young lads drove up behind me blasting on their horn. I know they think its funny but I already had to think twice about walking in the middle of nowhere down a canal on my own without numpties like them! That's two nights in a row they've driven past me now!

I actually think you should learn to speak Welsh Dave!

Nixy i am quite a dab hand on horse racing , mainly the flat and have done quite well in recent years. From 2002-2006 i had a static caravan at Porthmadoc and every time i went into the local bookmakers they always spoke welsh, until one saturday when i had a very good day on the horses and won quite a lot of money. All of a sudden the local welsh guys came up to me and said in perfect english "what are you having in the next race my friend"

No need to learn welsh, poker and racing are hard enough as it is. ;)

Martin my PA sorts and lingo barrier's out
