Well on the subject of depreciation my last 3 purchases were:

 

my first house...just before the prices dropped 20%

my 350Z roadster...just before all the stockbrokers got canned and sold their 911’s for 50p

£10k of HBOS shares....just before the company went tits up!

 

But hey - you've got to see the funny side...either that or reach for the whisky and painkillers ;-)
