I think about 165MPH would be a reasonable to expect. Much higher and you need a lot more power for each MPH you gain. I've hit 140MPH before (private test track of course) and it felt like it had a lot more to give, but at those speeds you soon run out of power due to the wind resistance.

and you have to appreciate the loss of accuracy in the speedo.

 

ive seen 160mph on the clock (civic type r) down hill (in my stupid days) and the gprs gave a reading of 146mph which was its top speed as stated by honda.

they will definately do well over 160.. something around 168 I seem to recall ...

 

(haven't hit the limiter in mine mind you - but I do know the speedo is 5mph out at @150 according to gps)

+1, had 140mph, (private track of coure), and still had a bit to go, not to sure how much bt a tad more !!!!!!

Yep deffo a bit more than 155, I had over that on my GPS at Millbrook on the highspeed bowl on a CAT driver day... Try and find the pic soon!

Digi speedo is a tad more accurate than the main clock... I get 3 different readings on mine. Main speedo is fastest, then the Digi and then the Kenwood Satnav...

 

I go by what the SatNav says!!

I done 165-170 in my tunes 200sx (mild tuned)

 

So i'm sure it'll do about that
