Good luck folks - WD40 is just parafin with a bit of light oil - it evapourates after a day or so - get some white silicon grease - just a small amount and smooth it on the runners - obvisouly watch your fingers and turn the engine off!! ;)

Just open and close it a few times to let the grease work itself in

+1 - WD40 is good for shifting stuck things, but not for greasing it permemantly. Get some proper grease in there if you want it to last

Don't let it – nothing better than the roof down, wind in your hair listening to that exhaust note!!

Have you met Digsy? Hair will be a flight of fancy soon :p

I think you must be mistaking me for Mike. :p

I choose to have my hair very very short :teeth:

Well some good news on mine.

The folding roof specialist couldn't find what was causing the problem with my roof, which is good for me as it doesn't imply that I've done anything wrong to cause it (not that I have). The service manager has reported his findings to Nissan and they've authorised repair work to be carried out by the folding roof specialist company. It goes in on the 17th to have that done.

I'll bring my magnifying glass to the next meet to check for evidence :disguise:

It would be nice to find someone on here with less hair than me

Nice one, let us know who the specialist is as well as it might well be handy when the warranty ends.

Will you get it back in time for Xmas?

I'll ask when it goes in.

Well as far as I could gather it will only be with them for the day. I need a loan car and he didn't mention anything about having it more than a day.
