Just back from the dealers

Well i've just come back from the renault dealers as the laguna is in need of a few bits. I'm going to say no more other than give you the price list :scare:

1. Full service £221

2. Timing belt with pully change £598

3. Tyre pressure sensor £30 for part £40 for programming and fitting

4. Clutch change £698

I could nothing but only laugh at the service reception and say "no wonder the show room is empty" :surrender:

As far as the tyre pressure sensor goes i asked the if they could just disconnect the wiring to turn the lights off on the dash..the answer was that they had never done this before and could be a big job, i didn't dare ask a price :headhurt:

:scare: Did you get costings before you agreed that they carry out the work?

They didn't even get to start anything, i will never complain about nissan dealers again.

Phew, i read the post wrong and assumed that you had the work done. :surrender:

I had a saxo before my lexus (before the zed) and I got it serviced by the main dealers. It use to cost more for a service than the lexus and the zed for that matter.

Renault dealers charge ridiculous prices. And their labour charges are normally dearer than nearly all other dealers!

£700 for a clutch!!! WTF!!! :scare:

Scary thing is people will pay these prices....
