H5 Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Having used a few washes, I have now run out and looking to try something new again. Have used CG Maxi Suds II, CG Citrus Wash n Gloss, Megs Gel Shampoo and AG Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner so far. Any recommendations for stuff people are using at the moment? Looking for a wax friendly one, nice and foamy and easy to use I guess. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 poorboys slick n suds - wont remove wax, glossy finish, doesnt leave water marks recently tried duragloss - not impressed - streaky just my opinion Quote
H5 Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 Cheers guys. Have to say I'm impressed with the other Poorboys products I've got at the moment. What supplier do you use Gix? Any other suggestions more than welcome! Quote

lilsheepshagga_turbo Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Just noticed the Dodo Juice Born to be Mild - anyone using it?? currently using the born to be mild from dodojuice... very wax friendly and is ph neutral aswell so i use it to clean my rims... quite frothy and foamy and it doesnt leave like a siliconesk layer... would highly recommend it... only downside is the bottle is teeny weeny for the price... -ho Quote

M13KYF Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 yep using dodo juice - born to be mild shampoo. Seems very good at what it does, just shampoo. No built in added wax bits. Not the cheapest on the market but you don't need to use a lot. 4 capfuls per wash seems about right. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 just bought some Sonax Gloss Shampoo, i'll leave feedback when it arrives compared to the poorboys slick n suds http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... php?t=1279 Quote
M13KYF Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 the sonax is certainly cheap compared to others Quote
nixy Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Megs Shampoo Plus. Good. Cheap. I use this too. Great big trade size container full - does the job and lasts you ages. Quote
