Well, just thought id share some pics from my euro trip to find the best driving roads.

Well since im not much of a typer, im just going to list everything.

Start

-Northamptonshire

-Dover

-Dunquer

-Amsterdam (forgot the camera in the hotels so no pics)

-Osnabruck Germany (Supposed to have a Karman VW Museum, but it was closed)

-Wolfsburg Germany (VW Town, any yep there were loads of VW's)

-Klass Germany (Went to see my mates mate who had a nice example of a corrado, and yes it was nice)

-Munich Germany (decided to check it out since we’re going past there, was nice also seen that the Audi Museum was on the way so went there)

-Salzburg Austria (Nice town but nothing special, just the location and the awesome roads to come)

-Dolimites Italy (after Salzburg decided to say here and yes we took the mountain roads and not the motorway past mount Grossglockner, boy was it awesome)

-Stayed in dolomites for a few days commuting through Italy,

-Lake Garda Italy (was awesome, nice weather and nice women)

-Modena Italy (there is nothing in the city, but the Farrari and Lambo Museum is there, oh my god, I walked out of there with a few stains on my trousers)

-Stelvio Italy (WOW Mr Clarkson was right, the next stretch was the best driving road)

-Davos Switzerland (After racing through the next stretch we needed a break from the best roads I have ever been on 50 - 80mph fast pace roads ummm nice)

-St Goddard Pass Switzerland (Wow the view was awesome but the road getting there was not the best due to what felt like thousands of hair pin bends but I tell you what the view does make up for it)

-Monteux was the next stop, we stayed in the mountains on a breath taking apartment high in a mountain.

-Lake Geneva (beautiful)

-Grenoble France (Bit of advice this is not the nicest city, but was okay to stay in)

-Gorge de verdon South of France (Wow what a road and a view, we went here because it looked awesome when Jeremy Clarkson raced the hill climbers in the Audi RS4 and I tell you what it does take 2 hours to get to the top of the other side)

-Then headed home

The trip was awesome, coved 4500 miles, I was suppressed it did not cost that much to do all of that in 2 and a half weeks.

And the best road is...

Davos to Stelvio.

Nicest place we stayed was Dolomites Italy

Nicest people we met was the Swiss

Cost me £1500 Not bad for an awesome adventure 2 people 2 fast cars (350z & Supercharged VR6 Carrado VW)

Nice.

And here are all the pics, around a 1000 so might take a while. http://s513.photobucket.com/albums/t335/yatik/

I'm sure i recognise your mates car from the corrado forum B)

Yep you probably do, I went with Rob (herisites) from the carrado forum, he does detailing, and mine is one of the examples that he stuck on the forum.

Half way round the trip, his supercharger seezed up and he had to unbolt it. oh well lucky i took my tools, but he is now going turbo, not sure when but when he does im going to have to go twin turbo, hehe.

All great journys must have there ups and downs rob had just a few. (alarm died on the first day, i stripped it out and bypassed the immobiliser, then we couldnt lock his doors because his ignition key was different to his door keys, had to get a new set cut, then his wipers went, when it was pissing it down in germany, and to top it off his supercharger seized up.

Other than that it was an adventure and a half.

odd and nosey question but,

was the £1500 for everything including petrol?

if not, how much you spend on petrol?

Yes that was with fuel. not bad since most of the places we stayed at was between 30-40 euros a night each.

Im going to do it next year as well but, the best sights and castles in europe. Should be another adventure.
