Wheel bearings failing?

I'm getting a cyclical humming noise that increases in frequency and loudness as my speed increases.

It's not affected by revs or even if I disengage the gears and depress the clutch.

 

No changes when turning the steering wheel.

No play in the wheels when jacked up....yet.

So gonna ring the garage Monday to book her in but switch to using our other car for now.

Only drove it yesterday and I miss my Zed already

I had my nsr fail on the MOT in August, it had quite a bit of movement in it, but I couldn't notice anything whilst driving. I replaced it with a Blue Print one from work.

looks like a common problem...I had my nsr fixed today, it was loud ! now I can listen to my exhaust again and not being distracted by it
