How many miles to a full tank???

450 is easy enough cruising the motorway.

Try slip-streaming a large coach at 60-65mph or big truck at 55mph (stay about 20ft back, max) for mpg in the high 40's. You have to keep sharp driving so close but if you are very short of fuel and money, it's a good trick.

On long trips 400 is doable but I try to avoid going below 1/4 full before filling up, takes an age on slow pumps you can be there filling up and two small cars can come and go before you're done, can be chilly/wet depending on where the garage is.

I always fill up at 1/4 but usually get somewhere around 300. Depends what kind of driving I've been doing.

 

Done a lot of town driving with it recently so no idea what I'm getting!

I get around 200 miles a tank although that is completely city mileage crawling at 30mph!

I did a trip to London a week ago 240 miles averaged 56mph and 28.8 mpg - the best I have ever seen (used just over a half a tank).

 

Then did my 3 mile daily commute (average 14mph and saw my lowest ever 10.1mpg!!). Dropped a 1/4 of a tank in 24 miles - only money eh

Dont know a TVR that has done a full tank of fuel between breakdowns

Managed to squeeze £67 in the tank today, the computer says thats only good for 267 miles but i have been thrashing it around lately

No its a UK Spec, reason ive been thrashing it around is ive only got it for another week until it goes back to the body shop

I only seem to get about £65 in, I tend to fill it at around 50 miles DTE and use V power @115p a litre

 

I usually get on or around 300 miles, more if ive done some motorway mileage
