My winter clean and protection

Got the week off this week.

Yesterday gave the zed a wash dear, fallout remover and going over with Tax Systems clay cloth.

Love the cloth.

Perfect size to use folded in half with the weight of the cloth enough to not need any downward pressure.

Parked the zed in the garage.

 

Later that night once kids were in bed I used Autofinesse Tripple to cleanse the paint followed by a coat of Turtlewax Hydrophobic Sealant wax.

Finished at 1am last night.

 

This morning I gave another coat of Turtlewax Hydrophobic Sealant wax.

So slick now even the applicator sponge won't sit on the bonnet and just slides off.

 

Then took the wheels off today for a full strip down.

 

Followed by a coat of Gtechniq C5.

They're now curing in the garage

 

 

Will put some C2V3 on tomorrow before putting them back on the zed.

So glad I kept the original 18s as a spare set.

 

Local Scorpion dealer said my exhaust is here and y pipe arrives tomorrow.

So I'm booked in on Friday for fitting.
