UV windscreen | ROAD ANGEL

Hey,

 

Just bought a Road Angel but was wondering if the Zed's are fitted with a UV windscreen as this affects the laser detection and GPS location.

 

Any thoughts anyone or does someone have a Road angel that's working with no issues?

I use a TomTom with no issues so GPS location shouldn't be a problem.

 

I've got a snooper too but its still in the box

I have a Road Angel plus it works fine

There are issues with Pug 206's and some Fords etc but I run a Road Angel as well with no issues

cheers guys. I guess that the rear sensor is'nt going to work too well though with such a narrow back window

 

Does the laser senors pick up much like false positives?

I have never picked up any false positives.

 

Also, have just sold my road angel and gone for a road angel professional.

Laser sensors are a bit of a gimmick anyway, unless you fit an external sensor to your front & rear number plates

Even if they work, all its telling you is you've been caught Without a scrambler it wont save you, and they are illegal.

If its a copper with a laser gun then your right but the laser detectors will let you know in advance of any static speed traps etc

I have a snooper S4 (with GPS and Laser). Latest updates are revealing a lot more laser warnings - quite often where there is no obvious reason for a laser installation: i.e. a country road. I am assuming these are locations that have been reported where mobile lasers have been used - anyone know better?

got the RA today work great, i only went out for a quick drive, then stright into a police speed trap. lol luckly i was sticking to the speed limit.

I like the Birdview (apart from no postcode search and no touch screen), also got a Snooper Sapphire for GPS speed camera duties

Just what I have bud and cant wait to get my replacement Birdview, as its Nissan I still am though. Its getting a little crowded with the dead Birdview, the Saphire and the Road Angel.

Yes but unfortunately its a Nissan warranty job, reported in February and nothing yet. Apparently it comes from France so cannot be chased up because they speak French
