Far from the glorious mega road trips involving multiple cars shot in stunning locations, it’s now a collection of old reviews. Gone are the direct and revealing back to back comparison drives where a Clio can go head to head with a Lambo, and instead we get cars that weren’t even released this year. No more unattainable specials either, so we’ll never see a GT3 or a 488 Speciale (or whatever it’ll be called) or even a McLaren Senna in there. Never really been the same since Harry Metcalfe sold up and moved on. Perhaps he could see the writing on the wall even back then. Like it or not everything seems to be going digital.
