I do have a £5000 limit 3 month warranty with up to £80 per hour labour. Can i claim for this? I've seen on the forum people have done there own belts but I'll get mechanic to do it.

Belts will not be covered by your warranty, however, they should have been replaced before you took delivery of the car.

Hopefully, you will get a goodwill.

Thanks m8 it's no big deal I'l pay for it.  I should of looked closer at the time of buying but dealer got the roof working properly as that was the main focus. I guess main dealer belts is the way to go or mechanic suppliers are just as good? Cheers : )

Mine has the sticker, but as mine is black,  if there is stuff under there, i can't see it.

i think its prime purpose is to prevent the rubber seal on the underneath of the roof, rubbing through the clearcoat on the roof cover. you could probably replace it with a decent PPF

Cheers m8 I did look up PPF when u first said and it was not car related. It's got some protection film at the rear bottom side skirts to protect it from stone chips but it's clean and nothing has got underneath unlike the roof lid.
