separating gearbox from engine

Hi guys, im half way through changing my clutch, all the bolts etc are out from the bell housing. But the gearbox wont come away from the engine. I can get a few mil all the way around so I know its not a bolt, but it just wont come off. Is there some trick to this that im missing? or is it just a case of keep wiggling it until it comes free?

Providing there is not a bolt left in half screwed out then the box will probably just be sticking on the dowels.

Rest the box on a tranny hydraulic jack and get a pry bar between the engine and the gearbox bell housing.

Bottom of the gear box small dust cover held in with a 10mm bolt IIRC removed from engine side and its above the cross bar - did you get that? If so then as Alex said pry bar is the way ahead - even better 2 - one on each side so it come off square

Hi guys, thanks for the comments, I tried prying it apart for hours before I made the post, it was well and truly seized on there. In the end, I got a ratchet strap around the rear sub frame, and ratcheted the hell out of it. It eventual released with an almighty bang lol.
