ok,so this is the week

 

I suggest we all aim for a get together at 6.30am at the services (between 6.20 and 6.40 arrivals max)

 

from there is about 45 mins (if Ian is not leading the way otherwise 30mins ) so in theory should get to Silverstone for about 7.30 am

 

How does this sound?

Careful chaps - we'll pass both of these on the way to the show between leaving the M40 and the A43. The B4525 is a mix of national speed limit and 40 zones with forward facing cameras.

 

Northamptonshire Speed Camera Location

 

Nearest Town/village: Crowfield

 

Road Name: B4525

Direction of Camera: Both directions

Speed Limit: 40mph

Speed Camera Details: Speed camera sited at Crowfield bends about 3/4 mile west of junction of B4525 with A43. There is also a new camera (also variable both ways) on the same road about 6 miles further west at Thenford Hill junction also enforcing a 40mph limit. Both cameras are facing the driver.

Sounds like a plan.

 

Last year we had an additional stop off to collect a couple of others just off J11 (Banbury) where we'd be coming off the M40 for Silverstone anyway, but I don't think this is necessary this year (as everyone seems happy with the first meet point)
