Brake Disc/Pad Combo

Rob T

Recommended Posts

Sorry, another noob question!!

I have to buy some front discs and pads ASAP. I'll just be driving on road, quite hard, but with no track use.

I'm after a quality upgrade, but don't have a fortune to spend.

Price-wise, the best bang-for-buck seems to be:

Ferodo DS2500 pads - £90

DBA T2 discs - £215

Would this be a good combo?!

Your shout really mate, there are far worse things being done to Z's on this forum lately than running grooved rotors on the front and oem on the rear haha. It would be better to do the whole lot in one hit but if costs are prohibitive then get the rears done at a later date.

Will it look weird with grooved discs on the front and standard on the back...

Lil bit, but doesn't look terrible. Rotors are one of the last things you're checking out on a Z.

Just fitted Evora dimpled/grooved discs & DS2500 compound pads on the front only on my '07 HR313... Looks fine to me :-P
