  1. Double de-clutching into quick bends at around 7k revs & 85mph whilst also heel & toeing/rev matching isn't possible, surely lol...
  2. Double de-clutching on track at around 85mph & 7k revs into Paddock Hill isn't really an option! As said, at low revs on road I don't beat the syncro unless I'm really blatting.
  3. I had a similar issue but on my HR... turns out the main wiring harness connector under the passenger seat was the culprit due to dodgy pin connections... I had to clean out every pin connector with a needle file then it solved my roof issue...
  4. Hey all... my 350z GT HR 313 Roadster (82k miles) has a Gearbox syncro issue! At high revs changing down from 4th to third on track the gear crunches big time (fine at lower revs) Is this defo a synchro issue & will changing out the box oil & adding molyslip help??? Or is it rebuild time?
  5. Thought I'd give an update on my roof/passenger seat woes... Turned out to be a dodgy main harness connection under the passenger seat! I ended up having to use my needle files on the connector pins & sprayed some contact cleaner & hey presto... Roof working fine & seat does what it's supposed to 😁
  6. I've just DL'd the FSM for Roof (RF) & Electric Seats (SE)... Hopefully this will enlighten me?!? https://www.nicoclub.com/nissan-service-manuals
  7. Cheers! ... I was thinking I may have to take the seat out to inspect... Everything was working perfectly before I parked it up I gather if there is a fault with the passenger seat, then that'll interrupt the roof opening/closing sequence? .... The car is at my Bro's (75 miles away) ffs
  8. Doubt that's the cause seeing as the passenger electric seat doesn't work either
  9. The starter motor is fubar too (but that's a different issue) ... Battery is fine & even when bump started same issue with roof/pass seat...
  10. My Zed HR (2007) convertible has been parked up for quite a few months (since Nov 2019) The roof was working perfectly before being parked up but now when I press the roof button to open, the windows go down but nothing else happens! The passenger electric seat also does not work which I gather is part of the sequence in opening? It neither slides or reclines whereas the drivers seat works fine... I cannot find any related fuses in any of the fuse boxes in the engine bay or drivers footwell. Anybody had a similar issue or know the fix?
  11. I'm running DS2500 compound pads with Kinetix dimpled & grooved discs with the Brembo GT setup... Zero issues with squeal or "steering vibration"... Correctly fitted pads (i.e scrupulously cleaned caliper etc before replacement) don't squeal albeit I do agree that you do get a fair amount of brake dust from the Ferodo's... Chances are you have out of balance wheels/tyres &/or worn suspension points imo...
  12. Twilight Grey K51 on my HR 313 Convertible
  13. Has anyone moved their TCS switch (facelift) from its ridiculous position & put it next to the heated seat switches?
  14. Recently did a track day in my 313 Zed roadster & had an issue with high rev misfiring... Now it seems I can smell the gearbox oil when driving/sat at lights etc. Anyone have an ideas? Doesn't appear to misfire now though
  15. Just fitted Evora dimpled/grooved discs & DS2500 compound pads on the front only on my '07 HR313... Looks fine to me :-P
  16. I use DOT 5.1 Comma synthetic fluid with DS2500 compound pads with Evora dimpled/grooved discs... No fade/boiling on track for me...
  17. Has anyone done a mod so that the brake & throttle pedals are closer together? Finding it difficult to heel & toe brake on track as the pedals seem too far apart...
  18. Just ordered a couple of Can-Bus LED sidelight bulbs for my '07 HR313 convertible... Hope they are the correct ones lol
  19. How do you remove the switch finisher cover thingys????
  20. If somebody gives me a clue on how to remove the switch finisher/arm rest thingy I'll be vinyl wrapping mine... Do you have to remove the complete door card or does it just snap/press fit??
  21. And the armrest comes out sooo easily! Dan How do you remove the switch cover/arm rest thingy then?!? lol
  22. Cheers for the reply... I actually managed to push the pistons into their bores using hand/finger pressure Just fitted Evora Dimpled/Grooved discs with Ferodo DS2500 compound pads with a DOT 5.1 fluid refresh
  23. Useful guide But... Is there a specific tool for pushing the caliper pistons back into their bores? ... Are the pistons the wind in/out type?? EDIT: Replaced my discs with Evora Grooved & Dimpled & fitted Ferodo DS2500 compound pads. I actually was able to push the pistons back with just my fingers (30 yrs of spannering & have always used a specific tool) My top tip is too always apply copperslip to any bolts/fasteners that you remove to aid easier removal next time around
  24. What would be a suitable tool for pushing the caliper pistons (Brembo) back into their bores for pad/disc change?? (2007 HR 313)
  25. Wiki says 306, you say 309, most of the internet says 313... I've never understood why there's so many different values for each of the engines... I gather the testing criteria for max BHP/Power was amended but can't remember when...
