Gave the window and honk lock tips a go. No dice! My key does look different to theirs though.

Nice to know about the lights turning off after 5 minutes. Will give it a go later to confirm. Not sure the others will work but will give them a try.

-Both window tricks didnt work

 

-The honk not only didnt work but has knackered my key fob! I was unable to unlock the car for 10 minutes via the fob and now the range has somehow drastically reduced, I have to be pretty much on top of the car now to unlock it!

 

-Havent tried the lights yet though but they way things are going it will be just my luck that it will end up frying the battery beyond repair.

Ouch Erni, sounds like we have similar luck! Hope it's as simple as a new battery for the fob

Hopefully haha. I have a fresh battery just been put into the spare key so will try that one when I get back home on Monday

lol Erni. Is that on a DE or HR car out of interest? Not that it should matter, they had both in the vid and seemed to work afterall.

 

I wonder why they removed them.
