Illuminated ignition ring

Hope this is the correct place to ask, Just wanted to find out if any 350z models came with an illuminated ignition ring as standard

Mine doesnt. And I dont think they do as standard

They don't come as standard but the G35/350GT does and it's a direct fit

From memory it was only the HR engine that had this feature...

Got one off a Nissan Murano which I'm going to try and retrofit , it's about the same size

If that fails I'll check on US eBay for a g35 one

I'm happy to say the Murano ring fits with a bit of trimming to get it to sit flush

 

Will get it wired in tomorrow

I've connected it to the door switch wiring so comes on when the car is unlocked/doors opened and turns off when the door is closed

Clever man. Always wanted one on my GT DE, wouldnt you have to swap keys though?

No need to swap keys as the ring fits around the ignition switch
